Scratch

Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.

Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.

On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

Targeted TV Advertising

I would like to know what proof exists that targeted TV marketing works. Watching a music show on five earlier and during the break, one Bratz advert was followed by a random credit card advert which was then followed by 5 further Bratz adverts. Not that I particularly watch TV ads, its just annoying to have the same repetitive jingle over and over. Saying that at least they were different ads, rather than the time where I was treated to the same Barclaycard ad five times in a row.
