Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.

Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.

On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

 

Happy Days

New computer has been here for three days and I think I've just about finished transferring data from the old ones in a nice ordered fashion so its now all at least on one box rather than lots of mapped drives. Unreal Looks good, as does Doom3, but I'm not all about appearances - the difference between 3Ghz with 2Gb RAM and 666Mhz and 256MB RAM is strangely noticeable, especially when it comes to startup :)

Now it means I can migrate the web and mail servers onto a slightly quicker and more importantly stable box. Although this may have to wait until the second week in September when I'll be back from Rome, which courtesy of BA, I can now get to.
