On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

 

Pole Vaulting

Centimeter by centimeter, Russian pole vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva edges toward both the coveted 5-meter barrier and the consequent financial security.

Isinbayeva has improved the world record by a centimeter six times this year, scaling 4.90 meters in London last month. Each time she has picked up a handsome bonus check.

Watching the womens Pole Vault is surreal to say the least. The majority are blonde, most are very attractive and most used to be gymnastics so are supple with muscle definition that makes you cry. Like Bubka before here it seems like Isinbayeva and her teammate Svetlana Feofanova, are intelligent aswell, raising the World Record just enough to gain the cash bonus each time - 7 times between them in the last year.

Whats even stranger is the way they all talk and caress the poles. I can see it now, I cannot do it master Yoda... Nonsense, Luke, become one with pole... Hmmm

At this point I'm going back to watch the final jumps to see if they do it again. Or to see if the pole speaks back.
