Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.

Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.

On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

Ok, whilst the I still have some more holiday, and whilst I twiddle my thumbs waiting to sort the photos from Rome, its time to upgrade the webserver from XP to 2003. Doing so will allow slightly more flexibility for future expansion, should any be required, but it will also allow me to replace the hdds which have both started clicking. It will also allow a clean install which is always good when using any Microsoft O/S. Unfortunately it means installing everything from scratch, and then transferring all the old data in its various formats.

It will mean however I can crack on with various things which will be good. Although, with my luck, I'll finish upgrading on the last day of my hols, and then run out of time to do any development.

Ho hum.
