Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.

Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.

On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

 

Something Fishy

Not sure why, but having major issues with my broadband connection at the mo. Browsing the web really appears to be a problem, and for some reason I cannot log onto my router as it keeps timing out via http, and wisely(?!?!) I disabled telnet connections. Not sure why though as it seems to be happening on all my PCs. If it aint cleared up by tomorrow I'll reboot it manually, and failing that I'll hit the factory reset. Although to be honest ,jumpering pins with a paper clip ain't my idea of a safe procedure, either for me or the equipment.

On a lighter note, I'm back to work. Oh no, wait...
