Scratch
Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.
Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.
On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.
Poetry
I've always found it interesting and moderately scary how memories are triggered. Whether its a concious item like, "That banana sitting on my desk is strangely deformed, it looks like X's nose... I remember the incident with X and the clock", or the subconcious thing like, "That apple looks juicy... I wonder whats its like to be a fish".
Anyway, so I'm sitting here at work, and for no reason I get Dylan Thomas' Rage drifting through my head.
Now as far as I am aware nothing on my desk is intrinsically reminiscent of the poem. If I could find the connection in my brain, I feel I would be a happier and a more well balanced individual. Or at least I would know how my brain makes these links, and thats got to count for something.
