Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.

Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.

On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

 

Buy ... Electrical ... $49.99 ... iPod ... Bargain ... CD ... DVD ... Sale ... Aardvark ...

Whomever concieved the idea of listing, in searches, online shops for price comparisons needs to be skinned using a blunt screwdriver and then rolled in salt.

A list of several thousand sites that lists several thousand other sites in a reciprocal web of uselessness not big, and its not clever. Moreover, scrips that take the word your searching for, insert it into a sentence bounded by "..." and "..." making it impossible to ascertain whether its a useful page or just a crap, pop up advertising page with links to more crap, pop up advertising pages.

I wouldn't usually mind, but all of these prevent any listing of useful information. It makes the web slow and generally sucky.

Don't get me started on sponsored links...
