Scratch
Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.
Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.
On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.
Edinburgh
In less than five hours time I will be on a train to Edinburgh, with an aim to sitting in a jazz bar sipping whiskey by 10pm tonight.
Saturday will see me hand control of the day, and possibly my future life, to my 'friends', with firm brief of having a few quiet drinks, taking in a few comedy shows, then nipping to town to try and win back the days spend through blackjack or poker. Obviously, all of this with an aim to be tucked up in bed by 9pm with cocoa, a warm blanket and a good book. If my wishes are followed then everyone can return to their loved ones happy, without loss of dignity or bladder control. I can hope right?
As I sit here and count the minutes, all I can think of is images of Martin Clunes in Staggered.
Ooh, now where did the bottom of my stomach go. And what is that strange sensation. Ah yes. Fear.
