Scratch
Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.
Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.
On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

'Why are you showing me these books?'
Akkarin's eyes bored into her own, and she looked away.
'You want to know the truth,' he said.
He was right. Part of her wanted to ignore the books. But she did want to know.
The third part of The Black Magician Trilogy sees Sonea putting some of the difficulties of the past prejudices she has faced behind her as she struggles to deal with new responsibilities. Her understandings are challenged and she is forced to take a stand with her new beliefs at personal cost.
All previous plot lines are tied together into the overriding arc and it shows how much thought has been put into the trilogy to ensure continuity and the characters resolve many of their own personal issues that have been developing since the start.
The book is definately a page turner, and although there is a rather abrupt ending, there is the hint of what may come in the future, and given the improvements in each of the books so far, I look forward to seeing what the future has in store for these characters.
