Scratch

Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.

Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.

On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

Another Semi-Productive Weekend

So, another weekend passes and as I look back on whats been achieved.

Sal and I watched The Corpse Bride on Saturday morning which was very very good. I wholeheartedly recommend it - good story, good visuals, excellant score, subtle references throughout. We then collected our new Le Creuset pan set from our local DHL depo (what sort of delivery service doesn't offer redelivery on Saturdays?!) and I nearly died carrying it home.

Finished configuring some spare PC equipment so we now have freeview which not only can we record digitally, but also timeshift. Needless to say the second it was up and running, there was almost nothing to watch, so I found myself drawn into the very first episode of The Avengers which happened to be on, then managed to record an old episode of Jeeves and Wooster and the film Thunderbird 6. Other than that, I finished sorting honeymoon photos, Sal sorted wedding ones, did some Christmas stuff.

I had intended to so other things, but then got caught up playing Civilisation 3 and have done so ever since, mainly due to the damn peskie Germans and their expansionist policies.

Sure anything else I wanted to do could wait.
