Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.

Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.

On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

 

Driving

MX5s are fun to drive. They're fast and responsive. I don't have a vast experience of cars, so perhaps I should quantify it as fast enough and responsive enough to get me from A to B quicker than most I've driven, and without me ending up wrapped round a tree or lampost. The only downside is that if your on a congested motorway at night and it starts sheeting with rain, the spray from the other cars, washes over the car making it impossible to see. That and any car taller than a MX5, which is pretty much anything bar a motorised scooter, has its lights angled directly wherever you look or at whichever mirror.

But hey. When its fast and fun who needs to see.
