Scratch

Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.

Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.

On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

Progress

Ug. Needless to say things are taking a bit longer to fix/update than I had intended. The comments, or rather the TypeKey authentication, is still broken and whilst the new css is getting there slowly, its slower than I would've wanted. As such I havent posted much of late as I don't have the inclination and would rather spend time not getting columns to line up, in a perpetual circle of xhtml breakage. I don't fancy rummaging through the templates fixing the comment scripting if I'm gonna have to go back and change all the css anyway.

On a brighter note, today I have however learnt the following:

  • If you help someone trapped in the tube doors, there isn't a guarantee they will either help you as the doors slam on your hands or even say thank you.
  • Venger, voiced by Peter Cullen of Optimus Prime fame, shoots magic from his hands, the sound effect of which would go on to be Megatron's Fusion Cannon. This is the same Megatron who was voiced by Frank Welker. Frank Welker who 'voiced' Uni in the aforementioned series. You can see how you would go from an annoying Unicorn to wannabe Lord of the Universe.
  • If you mistype 'note' you get 'bite'.
  • I think Megara from Hercules is prettier than Ariel from the Little Mermaid. I am also coming to the conclusion shes prettier than Jessica Rabbit.
Needless to say I didn't learn much of value.

Back t'mill.
