Scratch

Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.

Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.

On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For by Frank Miller

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For

Frank Miller

4 out of 5 stars

I call her every foul name there is. She majes my name sound like music, like a chant to some dark God.

She's slippery with sweat.

Before long my hatred's spent but she won't let go. She kissed and coaxes me and the fire grows again.

I'm dragged o the ground by a jungle cat. She devours me and I thank her for it.

A sequel to The Hard Goodby, this glimpse into Sin City centres on Dwight and the re-appearance of his ex, Ava into his life.

A strong story, excellant art, and brief cameos from other characters help make this a thoroughly engaging read.
