Scratch
Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.
Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.
On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

Whilst I considered upping and leaving shortly after the opening few bars of the first number, I was pleased I didn't. More of an old school musical akin to Grease or Fame than Chicago, it got better as the movie went on. The scripts was funny, and whilst I realise people don't spontaneously burst into song/dance in real life, the musical numbers didn't particularly seem contrived or out of place. I felt Nikki Blonsky was somewhat overshadowed by her talented co-stars, with Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walkern, John Travolta and Elijah Kelley all singing and dancing with the best of them and Brittany Snow and Amanda Bynes making the most of the roles they had.
Not a film I would rent, but its not one I would turn off if it came on.
