The Day Watch continues from where The Night Watch left of and like its predeccessor, you get three seperate stories around a well hidden common thread that come together at the end; some of these build upon stories set out in the previous book, whilst others are new. There is more of a focus towards the members of the Day Watch, and this serves as the flip slide aswell as continuing the moral arguments set out in the first book.
