Scratch
Here you will find older scratches, musings and other detritus that once were located on the front pages, but have now faded.
Filed away here to collect dust and cobwwwebs in perpetuity, links may break, facts may change and data may corrupt.
On occasion I may come down here to tidy, but for the most, I prefer to leave the past where it lies.

Marvel Studio's first financed film is very good. None of the compromises to meet film studios has let them have free reign and tell the story they want, how they want. The casting, IMHO, is spot on with Robert Downey Jr. an excellant choice as Stark, bringing charisma and compulsion to the role. The supporting cast are good, even the robot assistants in Stark's lab have depth. CGI is very good, the story well paced and most importantly balanced.
Hopefully it bodes well that people are learning the mistakes of previous 'comic book' adaptations and giving the fans what they want.
